Phil Risby has recently joined the Vale da Manta team adding his experience in sustainability and innovation with the Blue Economy.
Phil has developed a number of innovations including two that featured in Gunter Pauli’s report to the Club of Rome: “100 innovations, 10 years, 100 million jobs”.
In 2011, the BBC Horizons program ran a series “Twenty technologies that can change the World” which included Phil’s innovative solutions to energy.
During 2013-2015, Phil was approved by Gunter to take the Blue Economy principles into South East Asia where a considerable number of projects from small scale to large industry were successfully undertaken.
The principles of the Blue Economy are just as relevant to Portugal as they are to any area, whether at Government policy level or for the small family wishing to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
